Seoul Institute of the Art

In 1962, Chi Jin Yoo founded the Drama Center and the Theatre Academy. The Drama Center was the first theatre built in Korea for the sole purpose of staging live theatre performances. Since then, the theatre evolved to become the Seoul Institute of the Arts.

Sang-Ho Lee comes from Daegu, Korea. He moved to Seoul to pursue his dream of telling stories cinematically. Sang-Ho has studied filmmaking and worked on numerous music video productions for some of Korea's most popular artists.

Ho-Jin Chung

Ho-Jin grew up in Seoul dreaming of becoming a film director. He has worked on numerous student and professional films. Recently, he completed his own dramatic short film about unemployment amongst the youth.

Sae-Young Oh

Sae-Young decided to become a filmmaker when he discovered he could capture the world with a camera. He enjoys both still photography and moving pictures and he's excited to work on the Films of City Frames project because it's an amazing opportunity to show the world the city that he calls home.

Min-Kook Jo

After enrolling at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, Min-Kook did his military service and some traveling. He has always been extremely curious and passionate about cinematography. His hope for the future is to always be behind a camera.

Go-Eun Kim

Go-Eun loves to take an idea and see it made into a story, regardless of the medium in which it is told. During her first year at the Seoul Institute of the Arts she produced 12 short films, 2 commercials, and 7 dance films. Her productions have won many awards in numerous festivals.

Min Ju Lee

Production Design

During her studies at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, Min-Ju concentrated on Film Direction but she enjoyed taking various roles on several productions, including cinematography, data management, and script supervising. Her passion for drawing has led her to illustrate storyboards for short films. She dreams of becoming a production designer and entering the film industry.
